The right slopes for me?
Good: The comfortable selection of wide green and blue slopes and passionate English speaking instructors make Saariselkä a great place to begin and improve on the snow.
Good: There is an interesting selection of tranquil tree-lined blue and red runs for the intermediate skier to explore.
Okay: Saariselkä has a limited number of advanced runs, but there is opportunity to ski through the trees for those seeking a challenge.
Excellent. With 220km of marked and well-maintained trails, many of which go through the nearby national park, Saariselkä is an incredible destination for those interested in cross country skiing.
Good: There is a well maintained half pipe and park, as well as some decent powder between the pistes.
